# AI Tutor Update Adds Subject-Specific Hints

The AI tutor has been updated to diagnose where a student is stuck and offer **staged hints** rather than handing over the answer directly.

It adjusts the depth of its hints to the character of each subject, including math, science, and English, and teachers can see in the data which hint got a student solving again.
