Flipsson — Terms of Service
These terms set out the conditions for using the Flipsson website and related services, and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of both us and you. In the event of any discrepancy, the Korean original prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms govern your use of the Flipsson website, blog and newsroom, pre-registration and related services (the "service") operated by Nallijaku ("we", "us"), and set out the conditions, procedures and responsibilities that apply between us.
2. Definitions
- Service · everything we provide under the Flipsson name.
- User · anyone who uses the service, whether or not they hold an account.
- Member · someone who has registered an account through our sign-up process.
- Paid service · any plan, feature or content we charge for.
- Content you post · posts, comments, images and any other material you publish on the service.
3. Publishing and amending these terms
- We publish these terms where you can read them from within the service.
- We may amend them, provided the amendment does not breach applicable law.
- We announce amendments at least 7 days before they take effect, stating the effective date and the reason. If an amendment is unfavourable to you, we announce it at least 30 days in advance and, where we can reach you individually, notify you by email as well.
- If you do not accept an amendment you may terminate your agreement with us. If you keep using the service past the effective date without objecting, we treat that as acceptance.
4. Formation of the agreement
- The agreement is formed when you accept these terms, apply to use the service, and we accept your application.
- We may refuse an application, or terminate the agreement afterwards, where someone has used another person's identity, given false information, previously been restricted for breaching these terms or the law, or where accepting would cause technical difficulty for the service.
- Accounts and sign-in run through our account system. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
5. Providing and changing the service
- We provide lesson design, material editing and class management features, blog and newsroom content, pre-registration, and services related to these.
- We aim to keep the service available around the clock. We may suspend it in whole or in part where that is unavoidable — maintenance, equipment replacement, an outage, a natural disaster — and we give notice beforehand where we can.
- We may change what the service contains and how it is run, and we announce material changes on the site. Free features may be changed or discontinued.
6. Your obligations
You agree to follow applicable law, these terms and our Service Policy, and not to:
- use someone else's information, register false details, or impersonate us or anyone else;
- infringe anyone's copyright, image rights, reputation or personal data;
- post abusive, discriminatory, hateful, obscene, violent or otherwise unlawful material;
- spam, advertise or trade without our consent;
- interfere with the service through abnormal access, automated scraping or reverse engineering;
- copy, distribute, transmit or publish our content without authorisation.
The detailed standards for moderation and sanctions are set out in the Service Policy, which applies alongside these terms.
7. Content you post
- You keep the copyright in what you post. We may use it to the extent needed to operate, display and promote the service.
- You are responsible for what you post.
- We may hide or delete material that breaches these terms, the Service Policy or the law without prior notice, and may restrict the account responsible.
8. Paid services and payment
- We offer a free plan and paid plans (such as Pro and Enterprise). The price, what each plan includes and its term are shown on the pricing page.
- You pay using the methods we support (credit card, bank transfer, simple-payment services). Which methods are available may depend on our payment provider.
- Prices shown include VAT unless stated otherwise.
- We may run discounts and promotions on the terms announced with them. Pre-registering does not by itself create any payment obligation.
9. Withdrawal and refunds
- You may withdraw from a purchase within 7 days of receiving the document (including an electronic one) confirming the terms of that purchase.
- Under article 17(2) of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, withdrawal may be restricted where the content has been lost or damaged through your fault, or where delivery of the digital content has begun. Where content is supplied in separable parts, you may still withdraw from the parts not yet delivered.
- Despite that restriction, we refund the payment in full where the request is made within 7 days of payment and no paid-only feature has been used during the term that payment opened. This is a standard we set ourselves rather than one the law requires of us, and we check the account's usage history to confirm it applies.
- Cancelling mid-term · if you cancel a term-based paid service partway through, the refund is the amount paid divided by the total days in the term, multiplied by the days remaining. We deduct no penalty and no fee. Where a discount or promotion applied, we calculate from the amount actually paid.
- If the fault is ours · where the service becomes unusable through our fault, we refund the amount covering the remaining term and compensate any loss you suffer as the law requires.
- How to request a refund · write to [email protected] or call 010-5029-6452. We start the refund within 3 business days of confirming the withdrawal or the reason for the refund, and pay statutory interest on any delay beyond that. Depending on your card issuer or bank, it may take longer for the money to appear on your statement.
- Free services, and benefits or credits granted at no charge, are not refundable.
10. Recurring payments and cancellation
- If you sign up for recurring billing, we charge your registered payment method for the next term when the current one ends.
- You may cancel recurring billing at any time up to the day before the next charge. Cancelling does not cut short the term you have already paid for — you keep access until it ends.
- If a charge fails because the payment method has expired or its limit is exceeded, the paid service may be suspended.
11. Termination
- You may close your account at any time through the service or by writing to [email protected].
- We may terminate the agreement where you have seriously breached these terms or the law and have not put it right after we asked you to. Where the matter is urgent we may restrict access immediately and notify you afterwards.
- On termination we handle your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, retaining only what the law requires us to keep, for the period it requires, before destroying it.
12. Limits of liability
- We are not liable where we cannot provide the service for reasons beyond our control, such as a natural disaster or a network failure.
- We do not warrant the reliability or accuracy of material posted by users, and we are under no obligation to intervene in disputes between users or between a user and a third party.
- We are not liable in connection with free services except where the law provides otherwise.
- Nothing in this clause excludes our liability for our own wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
13. Disputes and jurisdiction
- We will try in good faith to resolve any dispute about the service by agreement.
- Where that fails, you may apply to the Korea Consumer Agency's dispute mediation committee or another competent body.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any action is brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
14. Relationship with our other documents
Anything not covered here is governed by the Privacy Policy, the Service Policy and applicable law. The Privacy Policy takes precedence on how we handle personal data; the Service Policy takes precedence on moderation and community use.
Effective date
These terms take effect on 15 August 2026. If we amend them, we announce the changes and the new effective date on the site.
