Textbooks are built for the national average. That is why there is always a stretch that runs too fast or too slow for your particular class. With AI you can keep the achievement standards intact while rebuilding only the order and the amount to fit your class. The point is not to abandon the textbook but to re-lay it out.

Three things to settle before you rebuild

Change the order without thinking and the prerequisites tangle. Sort out the following before you start.

  • List the achievement standards: write down every standard the unit has to cover. Even when you rebuild, none of these may be dropped.
